Taken about 5 years ago, new York City.

I am trying hard to get my new anthology into the right publishers hands and get it out there for you all, since I believe it's better than my last anthology, or perhaps I like the subject matter a lot more. For those of you that dont know:

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – PLEASE POST WIDELY
New Trans/Gender Variant Anthology
Sex, dating, relationships, and marriage in the transgender /gender variant community
Edited by *Morty Diamond
Looking for first person stories from trans and gender variant writers about
the experience of dating, sex, relationships, and finding love.

Topic examples: hilarious or heartbreaking dating stories, transitioning within a relationship, being trans and starting families, passing/not passing and how this affects our choices for dating, meeting our partners families, the idea of marriage - legal or otherwise, online dating,
anonymous sex, sex and dating before and after surgery and/or hormones, how we negotiate sex.

I strive to make this anthology as diverse as possible within age, race, sexuality, and gender identity. I encourage all writers who identify as transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, third gender, non-gender, or gender variant in some way to submit work.

The length of your work should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words. Sexually explicit work is ok. Please include a short biography with your work.

If your story is accepted you will receive a cash payment and a free copy of the book. Please submit your writing via email to: newtransanthology@gmail.com
Deadline:

As of December 2007 I am still in the process of finding a publisher for this book. **

Morty Diamond is the editor of the book “From the Inside Out, FTM and
Beyond” and the producer and director of the film “Trannyfags”.

So, I love this concept, I love reading about love and relationships and how it all works or doesnt work in the course of our lives as trans people. The thing is publishers couldnt care less about trans people, we are simply not a big enough audience for them to take the risk to publish this book. Trust me, I made the most killer book proposal and marketing strategy. So, the bottom line is by the end of this coming week I hope to have a signed contract with a small publisher!

I have been given interest from a publisher who will remain nameless until they email me back. I've been waiting for an email for some time now...

Please email me some good books to read! Just finished Love In The Time Of Cholera and found it to be fully enjoyable and one of my favorites of the past year or so. What next??
